I am Huilin Zhang, a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at the City University of New York Graduate Center. My research focuses on Systemic Risk, Bank Behavior, and Social Networks, exploring how financial shocks propagate through geographic and social channels. Before graduate school, I worked in the ETF industry for 2.5 years, where I developed a strong interest in financial markets and financial institutions.
My research has been presented at the Academy of Behavioral Finance and Economics Conference and at the CUNY Graduate Center Brown Bag Seminar, with additional presentations forthcoming at the North American Meetings of the Regional Science Association International (NARSC) and the New York State Economics Association (NYSEA) Annual Conference.
